Good Morning Brian, Jeff and Jay,We cannot thank you all enough for the work your company completed for us yesterday. Jay, thank you for coming out and walking through our systems and setting everything up for us. We are extremely appreciative and knew you would guide us the best way for our needs. The three gentlemen that were here, Patrick, Jon, and Ken, were wonderful and showed the utmost of professionalism in all they did. They laid tarps down, cleaned up after their work, and were so kind to speak with. They even put up with our high anxiety dog that barked at them most of the day. We just can't say enough nice things about them and their work. The new duct work in our attic looks great and when we tested the airflow to Hannah's room we could already feel a difference. We know she'll feel so much cooler this summer and warmer this winter. Thank you!

My AC was blowing hot air and it was 90+ outside. I called Spencer Heating & AC based on several positive reviews in Kudzu and Angie's list. I was not disappointed. They communicated very well and responded when they said they would. Patrick explained everything he found and the options we had for fixing the problems. He did a great job of repairing my AC and I ended up purchasing an annual service contract (but there was no pressure). Posted By: Great job!
I called around other HVAC companies and we had an emergency that needed to get fixed ASAP. Spencer Heating and Air said they would show up that afternoon, and they did as promised. Since I was out travelling with work, I left it with my wife and newborn baby to meet with Bobby from Spencer. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but she felt very comfortable and Bobby was great. I bought a new HVAC system from Spencer Heating and Air in Feb 2008. After throughly interviewing all of the top rated companies on Kudzu, I gave Spencer a try at the suggestion of my neighbor who has used them for 30+ years. These guys really know their stuff. All of my questions were answered and their estimate to replace my entire HVAC system was by far the most professionally done: clear, detailed, and understandable. On the day of the install, 3 men showed up in uniform..looking more like engineers than "installers". The work was done exactly as we agreed and the site was left immaculate. Customer service after the install has been superb as well. I am impressed with the willingness of Spencer to accomodate picky customers like me and am thrilled to be able to wholeheartedly recommend them.Jan 2011 Update: Customer service continues to be great. After talking to Brian not getting good results with the humidifier I chose at the time of my original install, he replaced my humidifier with a higher output model at no cost to me. The new one is working great and I'll continue to recommend these guys to all I know.

We came home from vacation in June with no air conditioning. I'd heard that Spencer was the place to call for service so that's what I did. But Garrett, understanding my desperation to appease my wife, walked me through the process of elimination to determine that the problem was the switch on the wall and not the unit itself. As a result, I fixed the problem with a quick trip to the hardware store. I've not experienced that level of service when I've actually paid for it. I will definitely call Spencer for service in the future. Garrett proved to me that, with them, the customer comes first.Jeff C.

Customer Service and Quality work was excellent. Very professional and thorough. My job is customer service and I know a good employee when I see one. They found 4 problems with the unit that have been there since it's install in 05. I wish I'd called them sooner. One of them was very minor, time consuming and not profitable for them but he still mentioned it and fixed it. That is unusual and I never would have known it was there. The price for the work was very close to what I expected as well. A++ and I will use them again. Posted By: maintenance for ac unit
