Good Morning Brian, Jeff and Jay,

We cannot thank you all enough for the work your company completed for us yesterday. Jay, thank you for coming out and walking through our systems and setting everything up for us. We are extremely appreciative and knew you would guide us the best way for our needs. The three gentlemen that were here, Patrick, Jon, and Ken, were wonderful and showed the utmost of professionalism in all they did. They laid tarps down, cleaned up after their work, and were so kind to speak with. They even put up with our high anxiety dog that barked at them most of the day. We just can't say enough nice things about them and their work. The new duct work in our attic looks great and when we tested the airflow to Hannah's room we could already feel a difference. We know she'll feel so much cooler this summer and warmer this winter. Thank you!

You all are super and we look forward to having you perform the maintenance on our systems in the future and replace any other units that we have trouble with. It is so comforting to know and trust the people performing this type of work in your home and we are blessed to know you all.

My AC was blowing hot air and it was 90+ outside. I called Spencer Heating & AC based on several positive reviews in Kudzu and Angie's list. I was not disappointed. They communicated very well and responded when they said they would. Patrick explained everything he found and the options we had for fixing the problems. He did a great job of repairing my AC and I ended up purchasing an annual service contract (but there was no pressure).

I called around other HVAC companies and we had an emergency that needed to get fixed ASAP. Spencer Heating and Air said they would show up that afternoon, and they did as promised. Since I was out traveling with work, I left it with my wife and newborn baby to meet with Bobby from Spencer. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but she felt very comfortable and Bobby was great. Took a bit longer than expected to fix the problem, but they never left until the job was completed, and done right! Highly recommend this company.

I had water damage to my HVAC system. They fixed it promptly and it cost what they said it would be. They even went up and beyond

I bought a new HVAC system from Spencer Heating and Air in Feb 2008. After thoroughly interviewing all of the top rated companies on Kudzu, I gave Spencer a try at the suggestion of my neighbor who has used them for 30+ years. These guys really know their stuff. All of my questions were answered and their estimate to replace my entire HVAC system was by far the most professionally done: clear, detailed, and understandable. On the day of the install, 3 men showed up in uniform..looking more like engineers than "installers". The work was done exactly as we agreed and the site was left immaculate. Customer service after the install has been superb as well. I am impressed with the willingness of Spencer to accommodate picky customers like me and am thrilled to be able to wholeheartedly recommend them.

Update: Customer service continues to be great. After talking to Brian not getting good results with the humidifier I chose at the time of my original install, he replaced my humidifier with a higher output model at no cost to me. The new one is working great and I'll continue to recommend these guys to all I know.

We came home from vacation in June with no air conditioning. I'd heard that Spencer was the place to call for service so that's what I did. But Garrett, understanding my desperation to appease my wife, walked me through the process of elimination to determine that the problem was the switch on the wall and not the unit itself. As a result, I fixed the problem with a quick trip to the hardware store. I've not experienced that level of service when I've actually paid for it. I will definitely call Spencer for service in the future. Garrett proved to me that, with them, the customer comes first.

These guys were professional, knowledgeable, on time, and on budget. They explained everything very clearly and brain-stormed with me so that we could find the right option and the right price.

Customer Service and Quality work was excellent. We called and were able to get someone out to our house to assess work needed within a day or so The assessment was very thorough, and once the issue was isolated they were very open about what needed to be done with minimal cost, etc. Thanks Guys for your flexibility, quality, etc.

I wish I'd called them sooner. One of them was very minor, time consuming and not profitable for them but he still mentioned it and fixed it. That is unusual and I never would have known it was there. The price for the work was very close to what I expected as well. A++ and I will use them again.

We have a 15 year old unit AC that we pray over every time we turn it on. The techs always eek out another year from it. The person who answers the phone is sometimes pleasant and sometimes not but the techs keep me coming back.

We had our Lennox furnace and outside heat exchange unit installed in our newly purchased 15-yr old home in July 2009. Our rep, Jay Strawn, gave us many options and combinations, and was careful to explain the costs and benefits of each. He never pushed the most expensive units and was always attentive of our budget being first-time homeowners.

Our monthly power bills the past 2 summers have averaged the same OR LESS than our bills at our previous rental home which was 1000 sq feet SMALLER. Jay was also able to accommodate an unusual installation schedule as our closing date kept changing. We were treated with respect and Jay was a great teacher of all the confusing ratings and terms. I would do business with Spencer Heating and Air again without hesitation.

We have used Spencer Heating & Air for HVAC service regularly for at least 10 years. They are honest, professional, and offer personal service. They are a great family business!

I recently had an air conditioning emergency in the middle of June in the middle of a heat wave. Despite a week and a half wait for available repair slots, Spencer managed to fit me and my emergency in. I still don't know how for the life of me they did it!! But I think it had a lot to do with a wonderful employee named Darlene!!

Great Company to work with. No problems or issues and they left my property clean.

I have been a customer for over 10 years. December 2013 my digital thermostat was working improperly and my house was 78 degrees and climbing. I called the after hours number and David helped me figure out the thermostat needed new batteries. He called my back after a few minutes to give me time to replace them to be sure the thermostat was working properly. Thank you for great service and no charge except when a house call is actually needed.

We sincerely appreciate the courteous, professional and prompt service we received from the employees at Spencer Heating & Air. They were on time, friendly and explained their services in detail. We will highly refer this company in the future.

I switched to Spencer several years ago, when our old home system broke down in mid-Winter. Spencer came out when others didn't seem very interested. When the old system finally gave up completely, the folks at Spencer replaced my system with a modern, efficient system which has worked wonderfully well.
I also recently had Spencer add HVAC to my basement. The new heat pump they installed has given me perfect heating in the winter, and proper cooling in the warm months. I am more than satisfied with both installations.

Next, we will have HVAC installed in my workshop, so I can use the shop comfortably all year round. I will definitely have Spencer install that system also.
Finally, I added a maintenance agreement to both my systems so we don't have to worry about taking care of things ourselves.
